According to www.chinanews.com, Jiangxi Province plan to invest 60 billion yuan to build the first batch of inland nuclear power stations in China, Pengze Nuclear Power Station. Currently, the project has started construction, and is expected to be completed and commission production by 2013, said officials from Jiangxi Province People’s Government on Dec.2. 

It is reported that Pengze Nuclear Power Station is one of the key projects in Jiangxi Province, with an installed capacity of 8 million KW, and an annual generating capacity of 60 billion KWH. The first phase project is planned to be commenced this year, and go into production by the year 2013.
